Full time: Monday to Friday lunchtimes
Hours: 6.25 per week, 12.00-1.15pm
Fixed term position: To July 2021
Pay: Grade 2, Level 1-4 (£17,842 to £17,949 per annum, reduced pro rata, term time only)
St. Mary’s Church of England Primary School is seeking to recruit a Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) to join our friendly lunchtime team. This role is to support children during mealtimes and at playtimes over their lunch break.
The successful candidate would be part of a hardworking and conscientious team and should enjoy working with children. The role will involve supporting the children whilst they eat and promoting activities and good behaviour on the playground, whilst also managing the social distancing requirements currently followed in school. Experience of working with children and in schools would be an advantage. If you have commitment, initiative, a positive outlook, can build positive relationships with children and a willingness to contribute to the life of our school, we would like to hear from you.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This post is subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009 and as such, shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a Disqualification Declaration. Any information supplied will be discussed at interview.
